Really my design philosophy is rather simple. Design is all about beauty, not just selling products. I believe that beauty is subjective. Beauty is something to be found—and had—by anyone, anywhere. My job as a designer is to find that beauty and make it visible to the general public.
There are rules and theories that guide what is "beautiful" to the western culture and being trained in these theories is supposed to make you more adept at creating said beauty. Though I am a student of Western design I tend to disagree with adhering strictly to rules and theories. If we can unlock beauty, we can create something that is appealing, not just to a client or a partner, but to their clients, customers and partners. Then our advertising becomes art—something that will be framed and hung in a gallery a generation from now, just as we frame and hang the works of Norman Rockwell.
